I’m the founder of Rogue Pine, where I do strategic marketing and sales for lean teams at sales-led B2B companies. When a leadership team asks why they aren’t hitting their numbers, I find the stage that’s stuck and build the fix. I live and work in Monroe, Georgia.
What I do
The work is GTM strategy and marketing engineering, and the strategy comes first. AI made marketing output cheap, and buyer attention stayed the same. So more content doesn’t move the number anymore. Deciding who to reach, what to say and when to say it does.
Then I work through five stages in order, from demand and pipeline to deals, customers and expansion. I find the one holding the rest back, fix it, and move to the next. Depending on the team, I lead the work, build it, or bolt onto the people already there.

Work and results
A business technology company founded in 1934. One list fix took newsletter opens from 16.8% to 29.0%, and a customer case study helped them close two new customers. Read the case study.
Signature Insurance Group. Three offices and almost nothing online became seven offices, and the business has almost quadrupled. Read the Signature case study.
How I got here
I started in marketing at my family’s insurance agency while I was playing college basketball at Oxford College of Emory University. After that I started a small online fitness business, sold digital marketing for an Atlanta firm, and ran digital marketing at Marsden & Associates, where I learned HubSpot, Pardot and Salesforce from the inside.
I started Rogue Pine in 2014. For years it ran like a typical agency, with a plan, a calendar and execution. And then I realized I couldn’t tell you which part moved revenue. So the work changed to finding the stuck stage first and building from there.
I also served on the board of the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce from 2021 to 2023.
What I write
I write Grow Rogue, a short weekly note for B2B founders and sales leaders on why the number is off and what fixed it. I also write longer pieces on the blog.
